As a Scottish lady who enjoys quiet retreats in the wilderness, this self-catered lodge was a delightful find. the cozy pod provided a perfect escape, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. I appreciated the well-equipped kitchen area, complete with cookware and utensils, allowing for easy meal preparation. the bed nook was inviting, and the small seating area was perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea in hand. the lodge's location, just off the A9, made it convenient to explore the surrounding areas, including the Highland Wildlife Park and Aviemore. The owners were friendly yet discreet, providing a warm welcome without being intrusive. the peaceful garden area offered a lovely spot to unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings. Overall, this self-contained lodge offered great value for money, with a balance of comfort and simplicity that suited my taste perfectly. This lodge was a charming retreat that I would highly recommend to fellow travelers seeking a quiet and peaceful getaway in the heart of Scotland.
